WARLD (Ingrid Thulin)
Acrylic and mixed media on canvas
80 x 80 x 3,8 cm

The gaze of actress Ingrid Thulin, in a photogram taken from Ingmar Bergman’s The Rite (1969), is directed towards the viewer. The woman keeps a nearly immaterial mask in her hands, made of red and green dots. Viewed with 3D glasses, the mask seems to take the shape of a brain. Our own personal world, especially our pshycic one, is like a war that we have to face every time we look into our own inner self.
