Three rugby players from Australia meet Giambologna’s Rape of the Sabine Women, a sculptural group kept at Loggia dei Lanzi in Florence, here portrayed like a Rorschach’s test, or a double shadow. Words and numbers play a pun, in order to evocate the image of a very high number of flowers, or followers. Like silent or mute spectators, either the former or the latter both attend a show, where the exaggeration of gestuality becomes a defy to gravity.
